Parashuram Kund is located 13 miles North- East of Tezu, District Head Quarter of Lohit District, a growing town famous for its scenic beauty. Thousand of pilgrim�s visit this place of all part of India every year during Parashuram Mela held in the month of January. Parashuram Kund is associated with Parashuram�s matricide, It is said in Puranas that Parashuram came to the Brahma a Kund to wash off his sin Religious people ,saints come to this Kund on Makarsankranti which falls on 14th January every year. The Government of Arunachal Pradesh extends all possible arrangement/ help to those pilgrims.
