Kendriya Vidyalaya Tezu was established in 1984 by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (Education) to cater education to the children of the personnel of different wings like Defence, Banks, Post Office, State Government etc. Since its inception, KV Tezu has been one of the best institutions providing education for all round development of the students.Students are attracted towards this institute from every nook of the headquarter. Kendriya Vidyalaya Tezu is endowed with every possible modern facility.

How To Reach KV
Nearest airport is Dibrugarh. Nearest railway station is Tinsukia. One can reach Tezu by bus from Tinsukia via Namsai and by ferry from Dhalaghat to Sadia and by bus from Sadia to Tezu . The alternative rout has been started via Namsai Parashuram Kunda. Buses and small vehicles are available from Tinsukia. One should avoid journey during rainy season because of heavy landslides and floods.
